The short version

RoofCompass is a static informational site. Our calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored on a server. We don’t require accounts, and we don’t sell your information or pass it to contractors.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand overall traffic. These do not use tracking cookies and do not identify individual visitors.

Advertising & cookies

We may display third-party ads, including Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and Google may use the advertising ID/cookies to personalize ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and learn more at Google’s advertising policies.

Your choices (EEA/UK and US state privacy laws)

Where required (e.g. the EEA and UK), a consent banner will request your choices for advertising/analytics cookies before any non-essential cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may have rights to access, delete, or opt out of certain data “sales”/“sharing” for targeted advertising; because we don’t collect identifying data ourselves, such requests generally concern advertising partners — manage them through the controls linked above.

Children

RoofCompass is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
